Frame marquees can be fitted with clear roofs which can give a different feel to the inside of the marquee.
Usually this is done at one end of the marquee, usually the reception area or bar.
It is not always advisable in high Summer to have clear roofs over the seating area as if it is a very sunny day the marquee can be very hot underneath the clear sections.
In Spring and Autumn it would be possible to have the whole marquee as a clear roof.
It is possible to have a add-on marquee to house the stage and dance floor. This is a great marquee to use clear roofs as the disco lighting will light up the marquee giving a great effect.
The 12m bay end section can have a clear roof and is sometimes used as a reception area. 

Marquee styles are always changing and one of the styles becoming more popular is "Vintage Marquee" look.
All marquees can have this look, it is just a matter of mixing elements into the design of the marquee.
"Cross-back" chairs in an oak finish with long varnished tables can give a great vintage look in any marquee.
Wood parquet dancefloor and coconut matting flooring gives a different feel to the ambience of the marquee.

Heating a marquee is possible using large space heaters usually powered by oil or gas.
Most marquees use in direct heating which means the  heater stands outside the marquee and the heat is blown in down large tubes or "ducts".
Heating marquees makes it possible to have events into the winter months. A heated marquee will provide a great environment for any occasion even in the depths of winter.
The heat enters the marquee in large ducts which are connected to a variety of "diffusers".
Low floor vents can be used in open areas such as reception areas or the dancefloor.
Tall upward vents are used in the seating areas to push the heat up into the roof, not directly blowing at a table. The heat then is circulated back around the tables to provide a pleasant environment for the guests.
It is always important to heat all the marquees at an event not forgetting the catering tent. This creates a warm place for the caterers to work.
