Heating a marquee is possible using large space heaters usually powered by oil or gas.
Most marquees use in direct heating which means the heater stands outside the marquee and the heat is blown in down large tubes or "ducts". Heating marquees makes it possible to have events into the winter months. A heated marquee will provide a great environment for any occasion even in the depths of winter. The heat enters the marquee in large ducts which are connected to a variety of "diffusers". Low floor vents can be used in open areas such as reception areas or the dancefloor. Tall upward vents are used in the seating areas to push the heat up into the roof, not directly blowing at a table. The heat then is circulated back around the tables to provide a pleasant environment for the guests. It is always important to heat all the marquees at an event not forgetting the catering tent. This creates a warm place for the caterers to work.
